Commercial construction contractors face unique exposures that require specialized insurance protection. NAICO offers insurance coverages needed for these exposures at an affordable cost. We primarily focus on insuring artisan contractors (sub-contractors) that do work principally for commercial construction projects. We have the ability to offer programs for tough classes of industry, such as highway construction, roofing (minimum premiums apply on workers compensation) and ready-mix concrete operations as well as standard commercial construction contractors. We take pride in the fact that our staff can purely underwrite a risk as opposed to following a cookie cutter template directed from a home office. Because of this expertise we are willing to look at many different classes of business within the construction industry. 

Preferred Classes of Business

In an effort to be as diverse as possible, we  review each construction submission that is not specifically ineligble and determine if it is a risk we are willing to insure instead of limiting ourselves to a list of eligible classes of contractors. We do have classes that are more preffered than others but we pride ourselves on having an opportunistic mentality.
